Transformational coaching

You deserve time
to find your words.

For Koreans living overseas, finding the right words can be about more than language. You may be trying to explain who you are, what matters to you, or where you want your career to go.

I coach people who struggle to feel fully understood in either Korean or English. My approach gives you patience, space, and time to explain yourself as we explore your strengths and the changes you want to make.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a conversation that helps you understand yourself, choose goals that matter to you, and turn reflection into action. You bring your experience and hopes; I listen, ask questions, and support you as you find your own direction.

Your voice. Your journey. Your possibilities.

Authenticity · Being heard · Respect · Partnership

How we work together

You don't need all the answers. We start with your story, find direction together, and move forward at your pace.

01

Feel heard

Space to speak. Room to be yourself.

02

Find clarity

Discover your strengths. Choose what matters.

03

Take action

Try a small step. Reflect and adjust.

04

Grow confidence

Trust your choices. Carry change forward.

Your coaching journey

One step at a time, with support.

  1. Getting to know you

We begin with an introductory conversation about your situation, hopes, and what you need to feel comfortable. There is time to find your words and see whether we are a good fit.

  2. Agreeing on our partnership

Before sessions begin, we review and sign a coaching agreement covering goals, expectations, practical arrangements, and confidentiality. You can ask questions before deciding to proceed.

  3. Beginning your sessions

We explore your strengths, experiences, and priorities. Together, we shape goals and manageable next steps that fit your life and your pace.

  4. Checking progress and adjusting

We regularly reflect on what is changing, what is helping, and what feels difficult. We evaluate progress together and adjust your goals or plan when needed.

  5. Carrying your growth forward

As we bring our work to a close, we reflect on what you have learned and plan how to keep using it. The aim is greater self-reliance and changes you can keep building on in everyday life.

Encouragement throughout

In every session you have a supportive space to share feelings and challenges. We work on action planning, putting ideas into practice, and noticing what you learn along the way. You choose the actions; I help you reflect, stay encouraged, and find a workable next step.

When helpful, we use SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

Your story deserves care and privacy

I treat what you share with care and respect. Before we begin, we discuss how your information is handled and the boundaries of confidentiality, including any legal or safety-related exceptions. You can ask questions and share at a pace that feels comfortable.

Tools for self-understanding

Different lenses, your own story. I use SuccessFinder, the Birkman Method, and the Enneagram to support strengths and career exploration. We choose together which fits your goals.

SuccessFinder

A behavioral assessment that explores workplace traits and competencies. We use the profile to discuss your strengths, development areas, and possible career directions.

The Birkman Method

An assessment of interests, usual behavior, underlying needs, and how behavior can change under stress. We explore which environments support you and what the patterns mean for communication and career choices.

Enneagram

A framework of nine personality types for exploring recurring motivations and patterns. We use it as a reflective conversation about what drives you and where you want to grow.

These tools inform our conversation; they do not define you or determine your career. Your lived experience, priorities, and choices remain central.

A little start, before we talk

Where would you like to begin?

You don't need to have it all figured out. These questions are a gentle invitation to prepare for our first conversation. Only your name and email are required; share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

I value confidentiality. A brief outline is enough here; you can save sensitive personal details for our conversation.
